Experience matters. Cédric Marin is a bilingual lawyer with legal experience at the Federal Court, the Government of Canada, and the United Nations. He has handled hundreds of immigration and citizenship matters, from applications to Federal Court litigation, and he leads a team of associate lawyers: Chanelle Rosenbaum, Harleen Kaur Chadha, Michaël Delagrée and Agnès Chaudron.

One-on-one with a lawyer. You work directly with Cédric and an associate lawyer every step of the way. Before filing, a third lawyer who has not worked on your file reviews the application, and Cédric Marin conducts the final review and signs off.

Flat fees. Almost all clients pay the fee listed below, plus tax. No hidden fees. One flat fee carries an application through to a decision. Federal Court matters are billed in stages, so you only pay for the steps your case reaches. Consultation fees are credited toward flat-fee services.

Flat-fee prices

Most clients pay one flat fee covering review, preparation, drafting, filing, and support until IRCC makes a decision on your application. What sets us apart is that a lawyer works on your file every step of the way, supported by our in-house genealogy and research team. Citizenship files are turnkey, so the fee also covers the IRCC filing fee and every record we order. No surprises.

This is an all-inclusive flat fee with no hidden costs. We handle all the research, document ordering and legal work for you, so you know exactly what you are paying before you start.

Legal assessment, descent strategy and complete file preparation by a licensed citizenship and immigration lawyer

In-house staff genealogist and research team who attempt to source both Canadian and American documents, from the ancestor's birth in Canada through each generation of the lineage

All government filing fees

All registered mail, courier, and administrative costs

Formal representation before IRCC (Use of Representative) and handling of all IRCC correspondence

Support until IRCC makes a decision, and we fix and refile at our cost if IRCC returns the application as incomplete because of our mistake (terms apply)

Urgent processing request (if applicable)

50% due at signing, 50% before filing

Additional family members may be added at $3,000 CAD per applicant. Taxes (if applicable) not included.

We still prepare, review and submit your application, draft the legal submission letter and urgent processing request, and make sure it is complete and accepted. Mandamus (delays)

Still waiting? Demand a decision. Our fees cover the letter of demand, the filings and the hearing. Billed in stages, and many delay cases settle before a hearing. A mandamus that runs all the way to a hearing totals $14,000 to $16,000 CAD.

After the consultation, the next step is signing our legal services agreement and paying the trust deposit.

Once this is completed, we will schedule an onboarding call to develop your legal strategy, review your case in detail, and identify and gather the required documents.

Consultation fees are credited toward flat fee legal services if you choose to retain our firm. All prices are listed in Canadian dollars. HST (sales tax) is added where applicable and is included in consultation fees only. Citizenship applications are turnkey: the flat fee covers the IRCC filing fee, vital records, certified copies, printing and postage. For every other service, prices cover legal fees only, and government filing fees, medical examinations, language testing, translations and other third-party costs are not included.

We accept all major credit cards, debit, and Interac e-transfers.

For citizenship by descent applications, fees are paid in two parts: half when you retain us and half before your application is submitted. For other services, we request payment up front, before legal work begins. All funds are held in a mixed trust account in accordance with Law Society of Ontario rules and remain your property until work (a portion or all the work) is completed and invoiced. Receipts and invoices are issued for all deposits and transfers. Full details are outlined in the legal services agreement.
