No proof of funds for the Canadian Experience Class
There are no proof of funds for Canadian Experience Class (CEC) under Express Entry (EE). After you received your Invitation to Apply (ITA) and completed the remaining questions, your online IRCC account will provide a document slot and request that you upload proof of funds.
IRCC's guidelines mandate that applicants upload a letter confirming their invitation to apply under the Canadian Experience Class. It's imperative to double-check your ITA to confirm that you've been invited to apply for Express Entry under the CEC category. This will help ensure that your application is complete, and avoid delays.

To IRCC,
Re: No requirement for proof of funds
This is an application for Express Entry under the Canadian Experience Class. There is no proof of funding requirement for this program.
Please accept this letter following IRCC’s own instructions:
“The system currently asks all applicants to provide a proof of funds document. If you don’t need to provide proof of funds, you must upload a letter explaining either that you have been invited to apply under the Canadian Experience Class, or that you have a valid job offer.”
