Jimena Ramos Yengle joined Marin Immigration Law in September 2026 as a legal assistant and works with associate lawyers Agnès Chaudron and Harleen Kaur Chadha. She drafts correspondence on their files for the lawyer's approval, assembles application documents, requests records from vital statistics offices and archives, and keeps clients updated on where their file stands. Legal advice on every file comes from the lawyer.
Before joining the firm, Jimena worked in communications for non-profit and university organizations in Ottawa. As a social media specialist with OMI Lacombe Canada, she wrote and sent e-newsletters to national networks and was the first point of contact for public inquiries. At Saint Paul University's School of Leadership, Ecology and Equity, she turned dense research into clear public summaries and web content, coordinated the school's Ecological Fair, and worked with translators to keep messaging consistent across languages. She also helped run bilingual digital campaigns for Saint Paul University and was elected communications director of its student association two years in a row.
Jimena holds an Honours BA in Social Communication from Saint Paul University. She is a published author in English and Spanish and was the lead organizer of TEDxSaintPaulUniversity.
